About the Role
As our new Environmental Markets Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and delivering the Northern Land Council’s (NLC) Environmental Market Program — starting with the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC)-funded Savanna Fire Management (SFM) initiative. You’ll work directly with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal corporations, and Indigenous landholders across the Northern Territory to develop sustainable, culturally informed carbon projects and other environmental market enterprises. Your work will help generate meaningful income for Aboriginal communities while protecting country and culture for future generations.
What you will Bring
You’re an experienced project leader with strong skills in environmental markets, policy, and Indigenous engagement. With excellent planning and relationship-building skills, you’ll ensure projects are not only well executed but deeply grounded in community priorities and long-term sustainability.
